Mosquito Control
Barrett mosquito control consists of 5 treatments throughout the growing season. The treatments consist of garlic juice and corn syrup. That means our treatments are safe for kids, pets and pollinators. It’s a method farmers and master gardeners have been using for generations to control mosquitos.
The odor of garlic chases mosquitos away for as long as they can detect it. When sprayed outdoors mosquitoes detect the garlic odor as much as 10,000 times more than us. So even though you can’t smell the garlic, mosquitos can, and will stay away from the sprayed area for up to a month or longer.
