Barrett’s personalized design and build approach means that the same team who design your project works closely with those who put it in place. Our design team creates a plan using sound landscape engineering and structural integrity that will weather all seasons. Our build team then takes those plans and completes the construction with confidence and efficiency knowing it will remain beautiful for many years to come.
Part of the Barrett advantage is knowing we have created a six step approach for every design and build project we work on:
Step 01 - ON-SITE CONSULTATION
We want to get to know you and your space! To ensure we understand the full scope of your project we become acquainted with you, your design style, your budget, and your goals for the project.
Step 02 - ROUGH ESTIMATE
What we learn at our initial consultation allows us to compile a rough cost estimate for your project. Based upon this rough estimate, we then require a Design Deposit to move forward to the next phase.
Step 03 - DEVELOP A DESIGN
Now that the Design Deposit has been made you will collaborate more extensively with your designer to choose plants and materials that blend your unique needs with their vision and expertise for your project. Your designer will then create a comprehensive design that brings the beauty of the great outdoors to your home. Once complete, the Landscape Design will be presented to you.
Step 04 - FINALIZE DESIGN
After the design has been presented, we realize there may be further tweaks to the aesthetics or budget
that you would like to make. No problem – we are here to help.
Once you are confident in the design for your project, we will finalize a line-item budget for your review and approval. Upon approval of the estimate, a 50% down payment is required in order to schedule your project.
Step 05 - Build
Now comes the fun part where your dreams become a reality! The Barrett team will be on-site to dig the dirt and do the work. The actual time it takes for us to complete the project will vary based upon its scope. But rest assured we are with you every step of the way.
Step 06 - WALKTHROUGH
After your project is complete, we will do a final walk-through with you to make sure the details are complete, you are fully satisfied with the work, and that you are comfortable with how to care for your new landscape.
